DMCA & IP Infringement Notice

Intellectual Property Ownership
All content, software, branding, AI systems, templates, and trade marks on this platform are the exclusive intellectual property of CourtCraftAdvocate Ltd. trading as CourtCraft Advocate Ltd. Protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the Trade Marks Act 1994, and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
1. Our Intellectual Property
CourtCraft Advocate Ltd owns and asserts copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property rights in the following:
- The CourtCraft Advocate™ platform, including all source code, software architecture, and algorithms.
- All written content, legal templates, document frameworks, and guidance materials published on the platform.
- All AI system prompts, model configurations, and proprietary legal reasoning methodologies.
- The trade marks "CourtCraft Advocate™" and "Prepare. Represent. Prevail.™" and all associated logos, branding, and trade dress.
- All court report templates, skeleton argument frameworks, and document builder outputs.
- All marketing copy, website content, and educational materials.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice)
If you believe that content on the CourtCraft Advocate platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated Copyright Agent. Your notice must include all of the following:
Identification of the copyrighted work
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
Identification of the infringing material
A description of the material you claim is infringing and its location on our platform (URL or sufficient detail to locate it).
Your contact information
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
Good faith statement
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Accuracy statement
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
Signature
Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that material was removed from our platform in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (or, if outside the UK, the federal district court for your district in the United States).
Send counter-notices to dmca@courtcraftadvocate.com. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
4. Reporting Trade Mark Infringement
If you believe that content on our platform infringes your trade mark rights, please contact us at ip@courtcraftadvocate.com with the following information:
- Your trade mark registration number and jurisdiction.
- A description of the allegedly infringing use and its location on our platform.
- Your contact information.
- A statement of your good faith belief that the use is infringing.
5. Reporting Infringement of CourtCraft IP
If you have discovered unauthorised use of CourtCraft Advocate's intellectual property — including copying of our templates, branding, software, or AI outputs — please report it to us at ip@courtcraftadvocate.com. We take all IP infringement reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and our Terms of Service, we maintain a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to terminate any user's access to the Service at our sole discretion if we determine that the user is a repeat infringer.
7. Misrepresentation Warning
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Under UK law, making a false statement in a DMCA notice may also constitute a criminal offence.
